We feel that in the Spanish Era, the Filipinos were stripped off their rights and independence. They were put down to a level of slaves and peasants. For so long Filipinos have hoped for independence during this time and with the heart and courage of our heroes we had a chance and we were freed from their colonization. although, the influence of the Spaniards prolonged until now. their greatest influence is the catholic religion. we admit that the spanish colonization had a great impact in out culture. their were negative aspects but also there were great ones.
